Why I Prioritize Quality And 5 Products I Don’t Skimp On

This post was sponsored by Pampers. All opinions are mine.

There are lots of ways I stay in budget and find bargains. I want to be clear that I am a cost conscious person and there are plenty of things I absolutely do not buy unless they are on sale or the most inexpensive brand. However, I rounded up a list of the top five products I believe should be the BEST.

1 | Diapers and Wipes

Let’s just get the biggest one out of the way first. I think I have probably tried every single brand of diapers and wipes in existence. As a mom of three AND mom blogger, you can bet that I’ve made my rounds. I can honestly tell you that I have never found a diaper that is as high quality as Pampers Pure. Ever since discovering it, it’s always on my Target list.

Diapers and wipes are things that can’t be bargained on (in my opinion). The Pampers Pure collection offers premium cotton and other carefully selected materials. The diapers are free of fragrance, chlorine bleaching, lotion, parabens, and natural rubber latex. These diapers and wipes were the first to show me that I didn’t have to sacrifice functionality for the more “natural” option. The best part? I can grab them at Target, which is my home away from home!

My personal favorite things are how soft they feel, and how dry they keep Lincoln. Have you ever gone to change a wet diaper and baby’s skin is damp? Gross, right? It hasn’t happened once with Pampers Pure, even overnight. I also LOVE the fit. I can be picky about the way the tabs support the diaper.

2 | Paper Towels

Every. Single. Time. I have made the mistake of trying to be cheap with paper towels, I have regretted it. The messes are virtually endless, so paper towels are in high demand here. It’s very much a problem to have ones that fall apart, don’t absorb, or tear up when trying to rip them off the roll. Quality will always be king when it comes to these staples.

3 | Coffee

Coffee. The nectar of the gods. My husband can vouch for the fact that I consistently came home with the “sale coffee” or the new “value brand” to see if we would like it. Spoiler alert: we never did. We never will. I have finally learned that there is only one way to our caffeinated hearts and it isn’t the cheapest option. However, when considering the source of all things energy and happiness- it’s worth it. Yes?

4 | Peanut Butter

Don’t ask me why, but peanut butter is one of those things that really seems different based on the brand! I love peanut butter more than I care to admit, and so do my kids, so we can’t let this fall through the cracks. If you haven’t tried the better quality peanut butters, you are missing out. You have officially been challenged.

5 | Shampoo/Conditioner

Maybe some lucky humans are blessed enough to be able to use any ‘ole hair product, but I am not one of them. My hair feels 100% different when I go the bargain route. I am still open to being proven wrong, so definitely give me your best drugstore suggestions. That said, I’ve been around for 32 years and I have yet to find anything that keeps my hair manageable that isn’t high quality. Moral of the story? Probably don’t skimp on the shampoo and conditioner.

These are just my top five, but I am sure I could think of more. Quality really is important, especially when it comes to your babies, so head over to Target and make sure Pampers Pure diapers and wipes are on the list.
