Father’s Day is less than TWO weeks away, and if you are anything like me- you are always on the search for the elusive “unique gift idea”. Many of the Dads in our lives will get what they want or need throughout the year, so the trick is to think of things that they might now even know they want… yet.
My husband is an All-Star Dad, so he definitely deserves all the luxuries of his designated holiday. We have traditions like eating breakfast together and spending time doing what he likes to do on Father’s Day, but I also love finding unique gifts that I know he will use and love. This year, I was super stoked to find a website I hadn’t previously heard of: The Grommet.
The Grommet is FULL of unique gifts for any person and for any occasion, but it has been especially helpful in finding a gift for a Dad with any interest. For example, Tyler (my husband) is pretty handy and likes to be outdoors. In the tech department, he also loves his iPhone and hopes to add an Apple Watch sometime in the future. With all that in mind, I chose these three gifts for him this year:
This is the ultimate bit kit, according to my husband. This has the widest variety of bits for any seasoned repair guy. Even though I knew he already has lots of tools, I was confident he didn’t have anything this unique… and I was right!
Time Traveler iPhone and Apple Watch Battery Bank
This handy battery bank is perfect for anyone with an Apple Watch and iPhone. It has about seven full charges for an Apple Watch and can fully charge in iPhone in only two hours. It’s a nightstand staple, y’all.
Solo Stove Bonfire Steel Fire Pit
I low-key wanted this for the whole family, but we will just disguise it as a Father’s Day gift, shall we? This is like the coolest fire pit I have ever seen. Our family loves a good fire on the back patio on a summer night with s’mores, and we haven’t had a fire pit in several months after we had to leave ours behind in California. This one by Solo Stove is an eco-friendly stainless steel pit with a chic minimalist look. It has a double chamber which circulates oxygen to keep the fire burning and produce less smoke. There’s even an ash pan to help cleanup. It’s kind of the Cadillac of fire pits to be honest, and it’s super lightweight making it great for tailgates and camp-outs.
I am loving The Grommet for gift shopping, because it’s full of innovative, new products from local makers and small businesses- carefully discovered by The Grommet team. They make sure to test the products first to make sure they are only releasing the best of the best. Did I mention that they release products every single weekday?! If you are still shopping for Father’s Day, you can find plenty more unique gifts at The Grommet!
