My kids are SO. DIFFERENT. All of them. It blows my mind how three siblings can be so very different in personality and temperament. When Charlie was a baby, she wouldn’t sleep anywhere but on one of our chests. That is not an exaggeration. The first time she slept independently was somewhere around nine months old. Crazy, right? Lincoln seems to be way more “chill” and easy going. He will actually lay alone for periods of time with no frustration. That might not sound like a big deal, but after parenting Charlie, it’s pretty amazing.
When Charlie was two months old, we weren’t even thinking about a crib yet. She was so needy. But, with Lincoln, we decided to go ahead and test the crib since Charlie will be moving to a toddler bed sometime soon. When she does, Lincoln will be moving into the crib from his HALO Bassinest.
We got the HALO SnoozyPod to help with the transition. This is one of those products I only WISH I had owned when Charlie was a baby. The Bassinest that Lincoln has been in vibrates and has soothing sounds, so I wanted him to have the same effects while adjusting to the crib. The SnoozyPod is an all-in-one bedtime soothing device that fits snuggly under any crib, toddler bed, or twin bed mattress.
It has the capability to vibrate, play soothing sounds, and provide a soft, glowing, amber night light. Did you know that amber lights don’t interrupt our circadian rhythm, so they are perfectly ok to sleep with? In addition, SnoozyPod is Bluetooth enabled, so we can actually control it from an app on our phone.
The soothing white noise and nature sounds can be played for 30-minutes, or set to play all night long. An AC adapter allows continuous use, with back up battery option for traveling or power outages. Here’s a short video to show you how it works:
Lincoln seems to really be relaxed in a crib already and I really think the SnoozyPod is helping make that possible! If you have a baby transitioning TO a crib, or a toddler transitioning FROM a crib, definitely head to BuyBuy Baby to snag a SnoozyPod. I can’t wait to move it out of the crib and into a toddler bed to help Miss Charlie transition! Stay tuned for that journey.
