Last month, I had the honor of participating in the Minute Maid #doingood campaign. You can catch up on those happenings here. It was so amazing to have the opportunity to join forces with Minute Maid to encourage other parents that they are #doingood, even when they think they aren’t. I kicked off the collaboration by spending a morning with other mom bloggers, talking about the ups and downs of motherhood and brainstorming ways that we could encourage and help each other.
That gathering was so powerful and so therapeutic for all of us, that another local blogger and I decided to recreate the concept with our local mom friends and call it “Momsgiving”. We are planning to host our friends for food and fellowship with the intention of opening the conversation about our lives as Moms. What do our wins look like? How do our bad days feel? What can we do to encourage each other? The holidays are the perfect time to continue the #doingood movement. This time of year is undoubtedly the toughest on parents. Our schedules are full, our pockets are empty and our limits are pushed. What better time to give back to each other?
I am SO looking forward to Momsgiving. Something as simple as a small group of Moms spilling their guts to each other can be better than therapy. Who better to understand our journey than another parent? Am I right?! I encourage you to host some of your friends for coffee or lunch and just share with each other. It’s so easy and so good for the soul.
I’m excited to make a yummy Fall themed drink for the party, and I wanted to share that recipe with you in case you host your own Momsgiving.

8 cups Minute Maid Apple Juice
4 cups unfiltered apple cider
2 liters ginger ale
2 cinnamon sticks
1 apple (sliced)
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in punch bowl or drink dispenser and stir.

Enjoy!
