Use Kraft Paper In Your Tablescape
I love hosting parties, especially around the holidays. I have a longer farmhouse-style table that seats 6 people. I’ve had several dinner parties and holiday get togethers here, and I love it. My first tip is to use Kraft paper! I love using Kraft paper year around! I cut a piece big enough for the length of the table and put that under my table runner. Kraft paper is great because it can also be used for gift wrap, letting the kids color on, you can write people’s names as a place setting, etc.

Mix and Match Neutral Colors
Another tip is to mix and match neutral colors. I love using a Kraft paper base, then adding a grey linen runner, then these natural woven placemats. Round placemats look great with chargers. I love a matte black! You can even use a chalkboard marker on them to letter someone’s name as a special touch. Contrast light to dark so that the colors don’t all run together.

Use Pillar Candles to Add Dimension
This set of three candle pillars is my go-to when creating a table centerpiece. You can space them out between the placemats. They’re minimal and neutral for a focal point. You can embellish them depending on the season or occasion. I love interspersing Eucalyptus leaves across the table runner and around the pillars.

Don’t Forget the Music
I love curating special playlists to set the tone for your dinner party. This is the Bluetooth speaker that I use and love!
