Happy Fall, Y’all!
I am loving everything Target is serving up this Fall. So much, that I am physically keeping myself away from there too often. When I saw this pleated midi dress in I had to have it, because 1- it’s so elegant, and 2- it’s neutral. You guys know me… I try so hard to like colors but it’s not my preference. Ever. Also, I have really wanted to play with this style of neckline.
I thought this little number was a versatile dress that could carry me from a hot Georgia summer into fall. It’s definitely still 90 degrees here in Atlanta, but I’ve been dying for long sleeves, so this was a great compromise. The sleeves are light and sheer, so it’s not too hot.
My style is always pretty simple in the accessories department, but by simply throwing a hat on in switching to boots and tying the neck differently, it became a whole other outfit! I quickly and minimally changed the look to show you a couple options. Ps- I’m wearing an XL in this dress and my normal size is 16.
Again, my friend Elly styled the same dress! (Remember when we did this in the Spring?) She’s super pregnant and in a size small. I love what she did with her blazer and heels… definitely stealing that idea.
Check out her blog, here!
What do you think? Should we do more of these? Let me know! Happy Shopping!

I LOVE how versatile this dress is! You both look amazing! I love the dress the most with your sandals and Elly’s heels!
