Entryway Makeover on a Budget

This post was sponsored by Wayfair. All opinions are mine.

Hello, friends! You know how much I love a good decor project. I especially love “challenges”. Challenging myself to makeover a space within a certain budget is SO fun for me. Since we moved into a new house in January, I have had the most fun planning spaces and watching my ideas come to life.

One of the empty spaces in my house that I knew I wanted to dress up was my entryway.

Entryways/foyers are such an important and underrated area of the house. It’s the first thing you see when you come home, and the last thing you see when you leave. I had a mission to make ours welcoming and representative of our family style. Since we moved in, it has just been a blank wall that you see when you open up the front door. Here’s a photo of what I’m talking about:

Meh, right?

My vision was to add a minimalist style accent table and a large round mirror as the “bones” of the space. I knew I wanted a modern lamp as well, preferably glass. I chose a table that wasn’t too large, as I knew I wanted to place my faux fiddle leaf fig right next to it. I kind of love being greeted with greenery when I walk in!

The three pieces I bought from Wayfair specifically for this project were the table, the mirror and the lamp. The grand total for all three was right at $250, which was literally a STEAL. I am still so impressed with the prices and the quality of these pieces! The rest of the items were things I already owned (just like you could), but I did link to similar items below, just in case.

Is your entryway decorated? What’s something that is important for you to see first thing when you get home?

Gosh, I keep seeing those cute baskets everywhere!! I’m thinking they might be great for holding my daughter’s random toys that seem to appear out of nowhere!

My entry way is through our dark kitchen, I have an old dresser I use as a “credenza” it basically just catches all the mail! Lol. I need to give it some life!
