Oh, hi friends! It’s been forever since I have had a room reveal on the blog. This time, it’s baby Lincoln’s turn to to show off his digs. You guys know how much I love basics and neutrals… Well, almost EIGHT months after Lincoln arrived, I finally have a simple baby boy nursery reveal on the blog! There aren’t a ton of bells and whistles, just like I like it. Bonus: it’s very budget friendly.
The reasons for the delay are twofold. When Lincoln was first born, we were in a small apartment in California, so he didn’t even have a room of his own to decorate! Not only that, but he has always co-slept and didn’t need his own space quite yet.
He is just now at the point of needing his own baby nursery, so I made it happen.
The nuts and bolts of the room that truly make the space are the furniture pieces. It’s the smallest bedroom in the house, so I only have a crib, rocker, and small dresser set up. All three pieces are Delta Children.
The crib is the Lancaster 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in white. It’s a gorgeous and quality crib that would suit any decor style or nursery theme. It comes in three colors, and y’all know I had to choose white. The biggest draw for me, was that it converts to a big boy bed later on! Buying a convertible crib definitely gets you more bang for your buck.
The rocker is the Lancaster Rocking Chair featuring LiveSmart Fabric in Mist. I have tried ALL the rockers. Ok, not really, but I feel like I have tested quite a few and I really love this one. It’s deep, comfortable, and the arms are high enough to sit comfortably with my elbows rested while rocking or nursing. It doesn’t rock too far back or forward, which I love. The best feature is the LiveSmart fabric which repels stains. I kind of think everything in a toddler/baby home should be made of this fabric… am I wrong?
You might remember the dresser from Charlie’s old room. (I simply added new hammered brass drawer pulls from Anthropologie to give it a brand new look.)
Overall, I kept it really simple, gender neutral, and inexpensive. The furniture was gifted, but is very affordable and you can find it all at Target. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!
