Quinny | The Best Infant and Toddler Stroller Ever

I received this stroller in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and content are my own.

Do you feel like this title is a little to excited? It’s because I AM excited. Ok, listen. I’m the first one to tell you that cheap is better, help you find a good bargain, or go for quantity over quality. This time, I’m talking about quality- and one place that I have learned it really matters…

Your stroller.

Some of you seasoned moms may have already learned this lesson. It took me a little longer to figure it out. Nevertheless, I know now! With both babies I settled for the cheapest of the cheap strollers. As long as it had somewhere to throw my diaper bag, I thought that was all that mattered. Well, neither of my babies like to be in the stroller. I just assumed they were weird babies that hated strollers. Life went on.

Then, Quinny offered me a chance to try one of their strollers. They were hopeful that I would like it, and to be honest, I wasn’t so sure I would even have a review for them! Charlie hated her stroller up until then. So, I carefully selected which Quinny stroller I thought would best suit us. I went with the Buzz Xtra, which opens easily with hydraulic power and had other features that looked appealing to me. I checked the reviews and it, indeed, will fit in the trunk of a Civic- so I chose it.

First of all, it was insanely easy to put together. I snapped all the pieces together in about five minutes. It’s beautiful, with modern lines and chic style. I prefer gender neutral things, so I chose grey. There is a little basket underneath, a foot rest, a great canopy,  and a detachable bar that crosses over baby’s lap. The handle bar also adjusts, which I thought was nifty.

The day we initially tested it was going to be a full day at Nordstrom. It was the half yearly sale, so duh, it only made sense. I brought the Tula baby carrier just in case, because I felt sure she would get sick of the stroller relatively quickly (she always does). Let me just say that Charlie Kate made it through our whole shopping trip just as happy as a lark in her stroller! I had no idea what I was even missing! She was so comfortable the whole time. The seat reclines in several ways AND you can flip it around so that baby can see you and not just the “road” in front of her. She loved facing me! Besides how much Charlie loved it, my favorite thing was how easy it is to maneuver. I can open it with one hand, and steer with one hand. Both of those are crucial to the mom game.

Thank you Quinny for introducing me to this MUST HAVE! I can’t believe I haven’t figured this out before now.

Do you have a favorite stroller? What else is out there?!

I found your baby was more happy with sitting on the baby carrier. After reading the entire post i learned some special notes for choosing that kind of carrier. But you won’t forget to let me know what was the red imprinted thing over the right side at face of your baby?

The greatest advantage of an umbrella stroller is that they can fold up very easily for storage and they are extremely light. So whether or not you’re keeping it stored around the house, or you’re outside pushing it around, it will not be a burden to you.
BTW, thanks for the amazing article.
