Let me just say I’ve done a lot of local pop up exhibitions and this one was THE coolest. If you have a kid interested in dinosaurs or anyone interested in the Jurassic Park movies- the @jurassicworldexhibition in ATL at Pullman Yards is a MUST do this summer.

Everything was an in-character, cinematic quality experience but in real life. I can’t say enough good things! Here are some highlights and I’ll link to tickets in my stories. 🦖🦕

During hypnotherapy a couple of years ago my therapist had me focus on a time I felt powerful and the strongest in my identity.

What came up for me was being at Mom 2.0, specifically in 2019. I felt independent but surrounded by creative women who inspire me. I was enveloped in entrepreneurial and maternal energy. This environment is undoubtedly where I’ve felt most accomplished, strongest in my purpose, and most motivated to climb higher.

This year I’m honored to be attending, speaking, and representing the summit as their community manager.

I’m en route to the desert to learn, network, make memories with some familiar faces, and hopefully get some pool time in! Follow along in stories the next few days. 🌵☀️

We laid my Granddad Charlie to rest today, his bir

We laid my Granddad Charlie to rest today, his birthday. He had a beautiful “green burial” just like he wanted. (Although, not this soon.)

I’m not sure how to properly memorialize someone like this man.

I am not even sure it’s possible.

Because Granddad Charlie was truly everything. He and my Grandma Franca exposed my brother and me to culture, diversity, and the arts as soon as early as I can remember. His incredible impact on our lives cannot be understated.

He was hilarious.
He was talented.
He was curious.
He was patient.
He was driven.
He was optimistic.
He was an ally.
He was a dreamer.
He was a doer.

He lived and loved out loud.
He never lost his childlike wonder.
And he was the best storyteller that ever lived.

He was a writer, a photographer, a lifelong student, a proud bleeding-heart-liberal, and the most supportive and affirming person you could hope to know.

I naively believed there would be so many more years to come.

I’ll keep him alive in my heart by exploring. By creating. By learning. And by treating every human I encounter like they matter.

Just like he did.
