Even though we don’t talk often, I have a friend who checks in on me periodically- especially if she knows I’m going through something. When she sent me a text a couple days ago to check on me I noticed something cool.

Our last few texts were just check-ins, but my responses evolved over the weeks.

September started out really rough but it’s ending a lot better. sometimes it feels like you’re stuck in a hole and not making progress until you look back at the proof that you are.

This is your reminder that it’s always darkest before dawn. And every feeling is temporary.

I’m deep into the season of being outside as much as possible, especially for hikes! But as much as I love and look forward to this time of year... it also is summer: a season *full* of environmental migraine triggers for me. Too much sun, too much heat, too much exertion... any of those factors can trigger my migraine attacks.

I hate how hard it is to stay caught up on healthcare needs without insurance in this country. (That’s a whole other post.)

But I’ve never been more grateful for a full time job with benefits and regular, predictable paychecks.

It is something that I honestly overlooked in the past, but I am glad that it’s become standard for brands to be transparent with that accountability.

T-Mobile truly embraces diversity and mobilizes in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Beyond just showing up at the parades (like the Atlanta one I saw them march in) they are committed to supporting organizations that provide technology and essential resources to underserved communities, like @glsen and @humanrightscampaign.

Let me just say I’ve done a lot of local pop up exhibitions and this one was THE coolest. If you have a kid interested in dinosaurs or anyone interested in the Jurassic Park movies- the @jurassicworldexhibition in ATL at Pullman Yards is a MUST do this summer.

Everything was an in-character, cinematic quality experience but in real life. I can’t say enough good things! Here are some highlights and I’ll link to tickets in my stories. 🦖🦕
