Mexican Fiesta Themed Birthday Party

Mexican Fiesta Themed Birthday Party

Have you ever considered a Mexican Fiesta themed birthday party?

I have to say, I have been planning this theme since Charlie’s last birthday. I love all things Mexican culture, from the bright colors to the delicious food and, of course, margaritas. This might be the one and only year that I can ever get away with a joint birthday party for Lincoln and Charlie (since their birthdays are so close together), so I thought it would be the perfect time to throw a Mexican Fiesta themed birthday party. The last party I threw for Charlie was much more muted, and well, we needed some more color in our lives.

We decided to do a nacho bar as our “main food” item. We did chips, ground beef, and all the toppings. It was fairly easy to set up, which was key. In addition to that, I had fruit cups topped with tajin seasoning, mexican cookies, and obviously: birthday cake.

For beverages, we had a margarita dispenser, Mexican beer, and a variety of non alcoholic options, too.

I got the bulk of my decor at Hobby Lobby and on Amazon. Since they are so little, I opted out of a piñata, but I did grab this amazing ball pit/play tent on Amazon to throw in the back yard for the littles. (Don’t worry, I will link everything at the end of the post!)

We had the most amazing time with friends and family from near and far. The worst part about parties is when it’s time to tear it all down, am I right? Check out a few of my other parties here, here and here.

You can find most of the goods I used from Amazon HERE.
