Atlanta Staycation: Mom’s Night Out at Mandarin Oriental

Thank you to Mandarin Oriental for partnering with us for our sponsored stay. All opinions are mine.

I’m encouraged by how many Moms I’ve seen lately on social media getting to enjoy a night away from home… ALONE. I think some partners are also catching on to a “Mom’s Night Away” being the perfect gift. Any mom reading this has fantasized about a night away from home in silence, with a bed and a TV all to herself, room service, and no one stealing her food. Oh, and not having to clean up after anyone.

If you haven’t asked your spouse or partner for the gift of a night away while they hold down the fort, now is the time to put it on your wishlist.

My good friend and fellow blogger, Chanel, had the idea to do a Mom’s Night Out in our city. She stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Buckhead last year and loved everything about their property. She highly recommend that be our destination for our night away. From the moment I got there, I knew it was the right choice! Not only is it always a stunning property, but we had the pleasure of visiting on the Chinese New Year.

We were greeted in the restaurant for appetizers and tea. We had the most amazing Dim Sum ever. After that, we went up to our room to get ready for dinner. It was so quaint and cozy with the most beautiful details.

How heavenly is this bath tub?

We had a glorious dinner at King & Duke, and then went back to the hotel for a full night of uninterrupted sleep. The next morning, we ordered our breakfast straight to our beds and slowly said goodbye to our night of peace.

The trip was just what I needed to recharge. Instead of asking for flowers, jewelry, or shoes- next time ask for a night away. It’s just what you need, trust me!
