In this podcast, we will be talking about all the subjects that we kind of tip toe around in society. We’re going to chat about the controversial, the censored, and the taboo. I’ve invited guests to talk with me about their most intimate stories, in an effort to demystify these subjects, and humanize their experience.Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or Spotify and I’d love your 5-Star rating and review.
A California mom of three daughters, Randi tells a painful story from her early childhood. Unfortunately, the incident from her childhood wouldn’t be the only time she was sexually abused. She talks about the residual trauma she faces daily as a thirty something-year-old woman, and how those experiences affect everything from her marriage to motherhood.

Statistics on sexual abuse from the intro came from the NSVRC. Two excellent websites for information and resources are the #MeToo Movement website and the RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) website. If you have survived sexual abuse, are unsure if you have experienced abuse, or are dealing with delayed trauma due to abuse, please reach out to these networks. You are not alone.
