How To Multitask Like A Mother

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Panasonic. The opinions and text are all mine.

I have to say that the biggest learning curve in motherhood has been figuring out how to balance. I know, I know. Balance is a fictitious word that a woman certainly didn’t create. Nevertheless, three kids + a husband + entrepreneurship requires at least my attempt at balance.

I have the hardest time keeping everything together when I am alone with the kids. I don’t have that extra set of eyes to help me hold down the fort. It can get hairy!

Did I mention that my kids don’t really believe in schedules or order? Because they don’t!

On some level, I still feel like I am in the survival stage, even though Charlie is 3.5 and Lincoln is 1.5. They don’t like sleeping in their own beds and it’s really difficult for me to get them to stay on a napping schedule.

As someone who really lives for nap time, this can be a nightmare.

One of my biggest lifesavers has been a video monitor like the Video Baby Monitor System by Panasonic. If Lincoln falls asleep on the couch (for instance), and I need to go to another room and fold laundry- I can simply plug in the monitor downstairs and deal with whatever I need to go elsewhere. It’s compact and sleek, which makes it great for any space and easily mobile.

It has alerts that can be customized for sound, motion, and temperature smart sensors. The signal strength of this monitor is up to twice the range of comparable video baby monitors.

If Lincoln wakes up and is scared, before I can get to where he is, I can use the 2-Way Talk feature on the baby monitor to comfort him until I get there.

The lullaby and white noise features are a great bonus if your babe is one who needs that to settle. This monitor also includes a built-in rechargeable battery for up to 13 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of continuous use. No more dead batteries at inopportune times!

Being a mom of three has taught me to find shortcuts and time savers wherever I can. My best advice? Make life easier on yourself however it works best for YOU.

Since we only have one set of eyes, Panasonic’s Baby Monitoring System is a great start.
