Day 5: DIY Essential Oil Sugar Hand Scrub.
To start, as always, choose which essential oils you will use. I opted for Grapefruit, one of my favorite scents- especially because I love all citrus when it comes to hand washing!
INGREDIENTS:
– White Sugar
– Fractionated Coconut Oil
– Small Wide Mouth Jar
– Essential Oils
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fill the jar you will be using with sugar, so that the measure is exact, and then dump the sugar into another container (I used a measuring cup).
2. Add 20 drops of essential oil per 1 cup of sugar.
3. Add fractionated coconut oil at a 1:2 ratio to sugar.
3. Mix well and pour back into jar. (Using a funneled piece of paper helps.)
