Calling all foodies! The seventh day of “12 Days of Essential Oil DIYs” brings a DIY that you can EAT! Yes, for real. Didn’t know you could eat essential oils? Read on. Young Living actually has an entire Vitality line that is compliant with the FDA for ingestion. My personal culinary favorites are the herb oils like Oregano, Basil, Rosemary and Thyme. They are very concentrated, so you only need a tiny bit, meaning they last forever! I thought a great gift or stocking stuffer this year could be infused olive oil.

Day 7: DIY Essential Oil Infused Olive Oil.
Infused olive oils are fabulous for a variety of things. You can use them simply to drizzle on a caprese salad, or use to dip fresh bread. You can also use them to scramble eggs for an extra kick or on any other savory dish you might normally use olive oil for. Any of the herbal oils would be fabulous, but I chose Oregano for this one. I love how Oregano smells and tastes. Not only that, but the pure oil of Oregano is packed with health benefits including immune support.
– Olive Oil
– Your Fave Young Living Vitality Oil
– Small Corked Bottle
1. Add Olive Oil to the empty bottle.
2. Add 5 drops of essential oil for every cup of olive oil.
3. Invert gently to mix.
