I am SO excited. This post is the first in my “12 Days of Essential Oil DIYs”. I have been planning and working on this series for a little while now, and it’s truly been a labor of love. As someone who is obsessed with essential oils and all the possibilities that come with them, I really wanted to create a series of DIY essential oil tutorials to show my readers a fraction of the ways to use them. I decided the holidays are the perfect season, since any of these would make amazing gifts. You can read more about my essential oil journey HERE. Make sure you are following me on Instagram, too, for more tips and tricks.
First up: DIY Essential Oil Bath Salts.
I am starting with a super easy and inexpensive DIY that takes all of a couple minutes. You are only a few ingredients away from a peaceful bath or making a gift recipient very happy. The oils I chose to use are Eucalyptus and Lime. This combo is one of my favorites for the bath. It’s energizing and invokes all the happy feels.
INGREDIENTS:
– Epsom Salt
– Small Jar
– Essential Oils
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fill the jar you will be using with salts, so that the measure is exact, and then dump the salt into another container (I used a measuring cup).
2. Add 10-15 drops per 1 cup of salt.
3. Mix well and pour back into jar. (Using a funneled piece of paper helps.)

That’s it for this one! Use these bath salts for yourself, throw them in a stocking, or gift them to your kid’s teacher. You will love these DIY essential oil bath salts, I promise.
