In My Closet | Gladiators and Fringe

Some of these items were given to me in exchange for my honest review. This post also contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own.

I have a habit of denouncing up and coming trends and then eating my words. Fringe is one of those trends! At first, I was like- nah- I’m not trying to be a cowboy… hippy… whatever is happening here, but lo and behold- I fell in love. Don’t get me wrong, I am not overdoing it. I still am not crazy about fringe overkill, but some well placed fringe is pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.

This crossbody bag from Sole Society is the perfect way to ease yourself into fringe. It’s a beautiful cognac color that goes with everything from a sleek LBD to jeans and a tee. I always gravitate to that color of accessories because it’s so versatile. The bag is also structured and classy, to easily be dressed up or down. The inside has an adorable cheetah print fabric. It’s the perfect size for everything I need.

The other trend I am loving this summer (and the past four summers…) is the gladiator sandal; specifically, the lace up style. #1- comfort is key to me and it doesn’t really get any more comfortable. These from Old Navy are the ultimate summer sandal. They go with everything, they are very “custom” fitted to your foot (since they lace up for an adjustable fit), and they look expensive even though they are a steal at less than $30! There are a gazillion gladiator options out there right now, but these are my all time favorites.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love the simple look of leather paired with an everyday outfit. These look so great with this dress from PinkBlush. I have several of their dresses and I’m obsessed. It fits so well, is so flattering and comfy, and has pockets! Many of their dresses double as Maternity dresses, too.
